Sara Orrick is a senior career consultant in the F. David Fowler Career Center at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). A GW alumna, Sara received her BA in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs and an Executive Certificate in Sports Philanthropy from GWSB. Sara also holds a MA in Journalism from the University of London, Goldsmiths College.
Sara comes to GWSB from the charity sector, where she worked for large corporations, nonprofits and startups as she launched new fundraising models such as eBay for Charity, PayPal Giving Fund and United Way Worldwide’s Digital Services Operating Group. Sara is on the board of directors at the Percent Impact Foundation, where she uses her unique fundraising experience to help nonprofits thrive.
Sara is dedicated to guiding GWSB students from higher education into their careers, using a positive approach while sharing her insights on best practices and pathways.
