Explore This Program
The accelerated MBA program is designed to allow students to complete an MBA degree in two years. The program is structured specifically for students who are currently employed. The accelerated program is offered in a cohort format during the first year, covering most of the core MBA curriculum. Students register for a full-time workload during the first year, allowing for the completion of more credits than would normally be the case for part-time students. This is accomplished by holding the cohort courses in a condensed, five-week format, running back-to-back on Wednesday evenings (usually after 5:00 p.m.) and Saturdays (usually from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
Beginning with their second year, students shift their focus toward their selective and elective course requirements, while completing their final required core courses. Because electives are offered in the normal, 14-week format, a part-time course workload is recommended; however, the second year can be completed at a full-time pace for students who are required and able to handle the workload.
The accelerated MBA is also offered in a STEM-designated format.
