Career Networking Treks

What Are Career Networking Treks?

The Office of Undergraduate ProgramsF. David Fowler Career Center, and Development & Alumni Relations collaborate with GWSB-Affiliated Student Organizations to create Career Networking Treks for undergraduate students in the School of Business. Treks vary by industry, location, and timing depending on the preferences of the student organization and professional recruiting timelines.

Career Networking Treks provide students with the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about business directly from industry professionals during virtual or in-person site visits.
  • Hone informational interviewing and networking skills with GWSB alumni and employers.

Interested in Engaging with a Career Networking Trek?

Career Networking Treks are led by GWSB-Affiliated Student Organizations in partnership with the Office of Undergraduate Programs, F. David Fowler Career Center, Development & Alumni Relations, and the Office of the Dean. Career Networking Treks must be pre-approved and student organizations that are interested in leading a Career Networking Trek should email the Office of Undergraduate Programs at least 12 weeks in advance of their anticipated travel date to begin the review process.

Students who are interested in engaging with a Career Networking Trek should join a GWSB-Affiliated Student Organization that closely aligns with their interests.
