MSBA Careers & Employment
The MS in Business Analytics degree was launched in Fall 2013. Organizations are now grappling with data of unprecedented scope, variety and complexity. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts an increase in demand by 2026 in the following occupational categories:
- Statisticians: 33%
- Operations Research Analysts: 27%
- Management Analysts: 14%
"Across the board, companies report that finding the right talent is the biggest hurdle they face in trying to integrate data and analytics into their existing operations. In a recent McKinsey & Company survey, approximately half of executives across geographies and industries report greater difficulty recruiting analytical talent than filling any other kind of role. Forty percent say retention is also an issue."
