The sports and recreation industry is estimated to be worth nearly $500 billion, with more than $60 billion earned from professional sports. The industry includes not only the management and marketing of sports organizations (from youth teams to professional
leagues), but also the management of sports media, health/sports clubs, sporting goods stores, and sporting venues. The Graduate Certificate in Sport Management prepares students with a solid understanding of sports marketing, media, law, and facility
management.
Students must complete all of the required credits from the course options below and are expected to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above. Courses completed as a non-degree student are not eligible for application towards the certificate
requirements.
