Academic Advising Hours & Appointments

Virtual Drop-In Academic Advising

Use the links below to join a virtual drop-in academic advising session on the days listed. Once you have joined the Zoom session, complete the linked check-in form to meet with a member of the GWSB academic advising team.  

Fall 2023 Semester 

Mondays - 2:00pm-4:00pm ET | Join a Monday session here via Zoom

  • Aaron Solle from the Office of Study Abroad will be available during drop-in every Monday starting September 25th for anyone interested in learning more about studying abroad. 

Thursdays - 9:30am - 11:30am ET |  Join a Thursday session here via Zoom
Note: Drop-in will not be hosted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays.   

Scheduled Academic Advising Appointments

Scheduled academic advising appointments are available both in-person and virtually.

No-Show Appointment Policy 
Advising appointments are limited, so we ask that you cancel your advising appointment in advance if you are no longer going to be able to attend. Any student that does not show up for three scheduled advising appointments without canceling will no longer be able to schedule an advising appointment during that semester; these students may only attend virtual drop-in advising sessions for the remainder of the semester.

Please note: Students may schedule an appointment up to two weeks in advance. New appointments become available for booking every business day. Students are encouraged to visit a virtual drop-in academic advising session if they are unable to book an appointment.

Academic Success Coaching

GWSB students can meet individually with a GWSB academic success coach to receive individualized support in areas such as college preparedness, creating academic goals, study skills, time management, identifying distractions, or other various challenges.

Please note: Academic success coaches do not advise students on the same topics as an academic advisor; if your questions are better suited for an academic advisor (academic policy interpretation, course scheduling, curriculum questions, study abroad, etc.) please either schedule an appointment with an academic advisor or visit our virtual drop-in academic advising sessions.
