Experiential Learning

Helping MSTHEM students explore, learn, and achieve beyond the classroom

The MS in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management (MSTHEM) program at the GW School of Business is deeply committed to providing learning experiences that go far beyond the walls of a traditional classroom. We recognize that the most transformative education happens when students are immersed in real-world challenges, equipped to apply their knowledge, and encouraged to think critically and creatively. That’s why we design our experiential opportunities to provide hands-on learning, meaningful engagement with industry leaders, and exposure to diverse cultures and environments.

Through these experiences, students not only develop practical skills but also build the confidence to lead, innovate, and collaborate in an ever-changing world. Whether it’s solving real-world business problems, participating in global immersion programs, or engaging in community-focused projects, these activities leave a lasting impact. They forge lifelong memories, broaden perspectives, and empower our students to step into the future as leaders and changemakers who are ready to excel in any field they choose.
