See how you can give back to current students to help them on their career path and see what resources are available to you for your own career advancement. If you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Be sure to fill out the volunteer form so that you are notified about these and other opportunities that might be of interest to you. You can also learn about our Careers360 program, which provides a chance to network with and mentor GWSB students.

Alumni Career Support

GWSB is proud of its alumni. The F. David Fowler Career Center (FDFCC) offers the following services to support alumni throughout all phases of their career:

  • Unlimited individual career coaching within the first 12 months after graduation
  • Up to five hours of individual career coaching for alumni who graduated more than 12 months ago
  • Opportunities to register for alumni mixers, career fairs and discussion panels
How to schedule a career coaching appointment

GWSB alumni who graduated less than 12 months ago can log in to Handshake to schedule an appointment with a career coach.

GWSB alumni who graduated more than 12 months ago and wish to schedule a career coaching appointment should email the Career Center the following information:

  • Subject: Activate alumni account on Handshake
  • Name
  • Email Address (must use GWU alumni email address)
  • GWID number (if known)

Once your Handshake account is activated, you can log in to Handshake and schedule an appointment with a career coach.

Handshake

The official F. David Fowler Career Center on-line recruiting system and event calendar. If you are an alumnus that graduated before 2008, you will need to create an account. If you graduated after 2008, you will need to contact [email protected] or call us at 202-994-6704 to confirm that your account is in the system, or you can login at handshake.com.

FDFCC Student Resources

The F. David Fowler Career Center Student Resources portal for undergraduate and graduate students is a website for you to gain access to all of our subscription resources, all of our proprietary information including student handouts, user guides, and weblinks. You can access the Student Resources link via GWorkSB, or contact the F. David Fowler Career Center for access.

GWSB LinkedIn Group

LinkedIn is an online network of more than 17 million experienced professionals from around the world, representing 150 industries. Please register and create an initial profile at linkedin.com. Once registration is complete, please join the members-only GW School of Business Group.

GWSB Alumni on Social Media

Stay connected with fellow alumni and your alma mater by following and engaging with the GWSB Alumni Network via various social outlets.
