Committed to promoting excellence in multidisciplinary entrepreneurship and innovation, the GW Office of Entrepreneurship coordinates entrepreneurship events throughout the university. The Office of Entrepreneurship also plays an important role in the planning and execution of the GW Business Plan Competition.


Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)

NFTE endeavors to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities, and to plan for successful futures. To date, NFTE has worked with over 500,000 young people throughout the U.S. and around the world.

Dr. Erik K. Winslow, Director of CFEE, and Dr. Gerald Stempler (DBA ’88) provide support for research in family and/or entrepreneurial enterprises. Dr. Stempler established the endowment fund in 1992; in 2006, he gave a gift to rename the fund in honor of Dr. Winslow.
