Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)
The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE)’s mission is to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures.
Since its establishment in 1994, the D.C. Region NFTE office has assisted 24,000 students from low-income communities with entrepreneurship education programs.
NFTE University or “NFTE U” is a four-day intensive training program for educators delivering information about entrepreneurship held at GW.
NFTE offers BizCamps, a World Series of Innovation, and a National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge, among other programs. Learn more at Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship website and by following @NFTEDCRegion.
