Suzanne Vaughan is a senior academic advisor in the Office of Undergraduate Programs at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). She also serves as an instructor in the Business Leader Development Program. She joined the GWSB advising team in late fall 2021. With over 20 years of experience in education and non-profit education support organizations, she is passionate about fostering positive student interactions and helping students navigate university systems and self advocacy. Prior to GW, Suzanne worked in college admissions, first-year experience and new student orientation programs, and most recently served as a college and career counselor at a private college prep school in St. Louis, Missouri. Suzanne earned her M.A. in Guidance and Counseling with an emphasis in Student Affairs Practice, and B.A.’s in English and Religious Studies. Suzanne grew up in Missouri and is an avid traveler, public radio listener, and supporter of the arts. When she’s not exploring DC, you’ll find her experimenting with new recipes, reading a good novel, or spending time with her family.
