George Talks Business,” GWSB’s popular business interview webcast, recently “took the show on the road” to GW’s Ashburn, Va., campus for a special summer edition of the program featuring GWSB’s Herman Aguinis, Avram Tucker Distinguished Scholar and professor of management, and Dawn M. Cacciotti, president and senior human resources consultant at EngageHRnow, LLC.

With James Bailey, Hochberg Professorial Fellow of Leadership Development and professor of management, serving as moderator, Ms. Cacciotti and Dr. Aguinis engaged in a lively and informed discussion on “How to Help HR Deliver Business Value: Lessons from Science and Practice.”

The Dulles area chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) co-sponsored the event, and a number of SHRM members were in the studio audience for the session. Following the program, attendees received signed copies of Dr. Aguinis’s new book, "Performance Management for Dummies."
