International Student Advisory Board (ISAB)
Mission
Students on the ISAB serve as advisors to Global & Experiential Education (G&EE) regarding orientation, programming and issues of significance to the graduate international student experience. Board members also provide feedback to other School of Business and GW offices upon request. The board is comprised of one student representing each of GWSB’s graduate programs that have significant international student communities.
Goals
- To improve the international graduate student experience and encourage a sense of community at the GW School of Business from orientation through graduation
- To serve as a forum for GWSB international graduate students to voice issues, concerns, and praise
- To encourage collaboration with faculty, staff, and students to ensure a positive experience for all GWSB international graduate students

- Ahmed Alrayes - MACCY
Home Country: Saudi Arabia
Undergraduate Institution and Major: B.S. in Accounting
Graduate Major: Master of Accountancy
Hobbies/Interests: Soccer, horse riding, and traveling.
Fun Fact: I have been to 29 countries.
Work Experience: I have 6 years of professional auditing experience. I've worked with KPMG as an external auditor, and currently working with Saudi Aramco as an internal auditor focusing mainly on auditing the company’s global affiliates.

- Mayte Chang - MBA
Home Country: Peru
Undergraduate Major: BS in Economics and International Business
Graduate Major: Global STEM MBA
Hobbies/Interests: Cooking, watching sports, dancing and reading
Fun Fact: I am a quarter Chinese and was captain of my school basketball team.
Work Experience: My professional journey started at Pacifico Insurance Company while pursuing my BS in Economics and International Business in Lima, Peru. Upon graduation, I embarked on a role as a junior analyst at a Peruvian airline. After two years, I transitioned to the banking industry, assuming the position of credit assistant. Over the next two years I ventured into consulting, collaborating with media communication and technology agencies. Subsequently, I dedicated four years to the economic development department, where I ultimately fulfilled the positions of strategic planning coordinator and leader of Lima's incubator.

- Aiman Muzaffar - MSBA
Home Country: India
Undergraduate Institution and Major: Computer Science Engineering (with a specialization in Data Science) from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India
Graduate Major: Business Analytics
Hobbies/Interests: I have a passion for creative writing, DIY projects, travelling, nature walks, photography, and staying active through exercise.
Fun Fact: I treasure a collection of handwritten letters from my loved ones, each filled with their unique stories and wisdom, adding depth to my life's journey. Since 2008, I've maintained a blog where I've shared writing pieces inspired by my adventures and meaningful moments. Although my blog is currently inactive due to writer's block, it remains a valuable repository of memories and a boundless source of inspiration for future endeavors.
Work Experience: I've spent three years in education technology as a global learning and development instructor. During this time, I've actively contributed to a team tasked with developing and delivering pioneering concepts in data science and user behavior interpretation. I've had the privilege of engaging with students from diverse backgrounds worldwide.

Graduate Major: Master of Science in International Business
Hobbies/Interests: Exploring new places, getting to know people, meditation, personal finance, sustainable finance.
Fun Fact: I cannot imagine myself in a world without MS Excel; I use it for almost everything.
Work Experience: 4+ years in impact investing with private equity firms in Sub Saharan Africa. I also worked in the development finance industry with the IFC, the private arm of the World Bank Group as part of its Global Internship Program.

- Munyaradzi Guveya - MSIBS
Home Country: Zimbabwe. I am a Zimbabwean native passionate about business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and exploration. I was born and raised in the beautiful country of Zimbabwe, where I developed a deep appreciation for the rich African cultural and natural beauty that surrounds us.
Undergraduate Institution and Major: Chinhoyi University of Technology. My educational journey began at Chinhoyi University of Technology, where I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.
Graduate Major: Interdisciplinary Business Studies. After completing my undergraduate studies, I embarked on a new adventure by pursuing a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Business Studies here at George Washington University. This program allows me to merge my passion for business analytics with risk management and business continuity enabling me to approach complex challenges from a multidimensional perspective.
Hobbies/Interests: Hiking, volunteering, networking, visiting art museums, entrepreneurship

Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy dancing, meditating, walking, exploring new places, and traveling.
Fun Fact: In recent years, I have traveled to various cities while taking advantage of the benefit of working remotely.
Work Experience: I have 5 years of professional experience, mostly in the financial services industry. I've worked with Banco de Crédito del Perú, the largest bank in the country, and its fintech app, Yape. Also, I have been part of teams focusing on both Internal and External Communications, as well as Trade Marketing and CRM.

Hobbies/Interests: I love traveling and learning from the locals about their culture every time that I visit a new place. Also, I have practiced Taekwondo since 2014; it keeps me healthy and happy.
Fun Fact: I have slept in the desert and in jungles. I am always thinking about where to go next time I travel.
Work Experience: I worked as a receptionist for some years for the Best Western Plus hotel chain in Colombia and also as a customer service agent in the call service department for LATAM airline. Also, I was a volunteer at my university back home as a staff member working with the communication office helping to organize events.
