Matthew Clarke

Matthew Clarke is a senior academic advisor in the Undergraduate Programs office at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). He also serves as an instructor in the Business Leader Development Program. He joined the GWSB advising team in July 2024, having previously worked as an academic advisor in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. Originally from Australia, Matthew received his BA and PhD in English Literature from the University of Sydney. He also holds a master's in English Literature from the University of Oxford. Prior to joining GW, he worked at the University of Sydney, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in literary history, film studies, and creative writing. Matthew’s interests include cinema, baking, and exploring DC’s many excellent bookshops.
