Facilities & Event Services

In January 2006, the GW School of Business opened its new complex – the newly constructed Ric and Dawn Duquès Hall and the renovated Norma Lee and Morton Funger Hall. The complex provides students, faculty, and staff with a unified center for study and career-development activities.

The primary goal of the Office of Facility Services and Events is to serve the needs of the GWSB community by providing information on vendor options, catering, protocol, and help with event planning. Our office provides a variety of support and logistical assistance for all special events, including meetings, conferences, ceremonies, and commencement.

The Office of Facility Services and Events also serves as a liaison between the GWSB Community and GW’s Building Resource Providers, such as GW Facilities and Housekeeping, to troubleshoot building maintenance issues.


Event Reservations

Any GW Faculty, Staff or student organization may reserve space within the Duquès and Funger Hall complex during building hours of operations.
