Sainan Zhang is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Decision Sciences at The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). She received her Ph.D. in Operation Research and Control Theory from Dalian University of Technology. Prior to joining GW, she worked as a Lecturer at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and as a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research involves preference robust optimization, decision-making under uncertainty, and stochastic programming, including chance-constrained models with applications in energy systems.
