We would like to invite you to the on-campus MBA Orientation on Saturday, August 26th. All students who will be entering an on-campus program (either Professional or Professional Cohorted MBA) are required to attend. All students who have been admitted to an online program (either Online MBA or Healthcare MBA) are encouraged to attend as well, but it is not mandatory. The on-campus MBA Orientation will include an overview of the program, career services, and networking with fellow students.
Students should complete the online workshops located in Blackboard prior to the start of their first semester. All students who have deposited will be automatically subscribed within one week of depositing. Students who deposit after this date will be automatically subscribed on weekly basis through the start of the semester. The workshops include Leadership & Teams, Quantitative Bootcamp, and Career Roadmap.
All students admitted to a master’s program at The George Washington (GW) School of Business are required to successfully complete the online academic integrity module. The module is located in Blackboard under Academic Information.
Get a head start by watching videos from Khan Academy or enrolling in a MOOC from Coursera, EdX, FutureLearn or Stanford Online. This will help you to prepare for the Quantitative Bootcamp workshop during Institute and for the Data Analysis and Decisions class. Refreshing your skills early will help you get the most out of Quantitative Bootcamp! It’s impossible to learn these topics from scratch in four days.
Once you are permanently located in Washington DC, you will have free access to The Economist through the Washington DC Public Library and you can create an account with The Financial Times using your GWU email address.
