Part-Time MBA Orientation

The Part-Time MBA Orientation Will Be Held Saturday, August 18

All Professional or Professional Cohorted MBA students are required to attend.


We would like to invite you to the on-campus MBA Orientation on Saturday, August 18. All students who will be entering an on-campus program (either Professional or Professional Cohorted MBA) are required to attend. All students who have been admitted to an online program (either Online MBA or Healthcare MBA) are encouraged to attend as well, but attendance is not mandatory. The on-campus MBA Orientation will include an overview of the program and career services and will provide an opportunity to network with fellow students. More information will be posted closer to the date.

All students admitted to a master’s program at The George Washington (GW) School of Business are required to successfully complete the online academic integrity module.  The module is located in Blackboard under Academic Information.

Brush-Up On Your Quant Skills & Economic Knowledge

Get a head start by watching videos from Khan Academy or enrolling in a MOOC from CourseraEdXFutureLearn or Stanford Online. This will help you to prepare for the Quantitative Bootcamp workshop during Institute and for the Data Analysis and Decisions class. Refreshing your skills early will help you get the most out of Quantitative Bootcamp! It’s impossible to learn these topics from scratch in four days.

Start Reading the Financial Times and the Economist

Once you are permanently located in Washington, D.C., you will have free access to The Economist through the Washington, D.C. Public Library and you can create an account with The Financial Times using your GWU email address.
