Stacie Nevadomski Berdan is a thought leader, communications strategist, entrepreneur and a best-selling and award-winning author on how to succeed in the global marketplace. Her career has taken her around the world creating successful marketing strategies and communication campaigns for some of the biggest global brands. She has served as coach, counselor and strategist to CEOs, politicians, senior executives and students around the world. Stacie currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Perceptual Advisors, a full stack brand strategy, marketing communications and public affairs firm. In addition to providing communications advice to a variety of global clients, Stacie also works with universities and local communities; she helps professionals, students and parents develop a global mindset necessary to working with other cultures, customs, economics, regulations, governments in the U.S. and around the world. Stacie has worked in more than 50 countries and traveled to an additional 40 or so.

Stacie has authored six books on the intersection of globalization and careers; several have been best sellers and other award-winners with translations into Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. She has served as an expert contributor to global media outlets and has appeared on NPR, NBC, ABC, CNN and FOX, as well as in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, USA Today, Time, Chronicle of Higher Education, and Huffington Post among others. Anna Berg Asberg

Anna Berg Åsberg is Vice President of R&D IT, responsible for strategy, build and run for IT in both Oncology and BioPharmaceuticals R&D. Her global team delivers transactional core IT systems as well as transformational data and insight technologies, including engineering, platform and tools for artificial intelligence and digital health capabilities. Anna holds a Master of Science degree from KTH, Royal Institute of Stockholm. Prior to joining AstraZeneca in 2004, Anna studied and worked in numerous European countries, including Germany, Spain, Switzerland and France. She developed a passion for applying IT to diverse organizations and challenges, and launched an IT consultancy company in Hamburg, Germany. 

Her AstraZeneca career began in Södertälje working with Finance and Enabling Units, followed by a move to the US to provide IT for the U.S. Commercial unit. Anna moved back to Södertälje in 2014 as VP for Operations IT, where she established and started the journey to make AstraZeneca factories ‘smart’ with digital technologies. She assumed her current role in 2019.

GDIT is a global technology and professional services company delivering consulting, technology and mission services across the United States government, defense and intelligence community. It operates in over 50 countries worldwide, offering leading capabilities in digital modernization, artificial intelligence, cloud, cyber and application development. GDIT’s Global Citizen Services business provides governments with leading-edge technology and services that ensure secure and efficient cross-border travel and trade.

Ms. Gooz has more than 20 years’ experience leading international teams spanning 75 countries, providing services to U.S. and international government clients in the management of international migration. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and French from Messiah University; an M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University; and a certificate in International Migration Studies from Georgetown University.

Sarah joined Intel in February of 2022 with decades of global policy expertise. Before joining Intel, she served as the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Global Health Policy/ESG Strategy for Organon and was Merck's AVP for Public Policy for Asia Pacific and the Emerging Markets. Before Merck, Ms. Kemp served as the Deputy Under Secretary for the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce. She oversaw a $485 million annual budget and 2,100 trade and investment professionals based in 108 U.S. cities and 76 markets worldwide. Before her time in D.C., she was the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and had postings in Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.

She received her MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, her MPA from Columbia University, and her BA from Hamilton College. Ms. Kemp is an independent board member of NTIC and CIPE and a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on China. She also is on the Advisory Council of Indiana University's Manufacturing Policy Initiative.

Greer Meisels

Greer Meisels is the inaugural Director of External Affairs at Intel Corporation where she is responsible for building relationships and strategic partnerships that strengthen Intel's position as an industry leader. She came to Intel from the Institute of International Finance (IIF), the global association of the financial services industry, where she served as Chief of Staff to the President and CEO for over four years. Prior to joining the IIF, she held several positions in the International Affairs division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, including as Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of International Affairs. Her work at Treasury also focused on the U.S.-China economic relationship as well as on investment security issues on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) specializing in emerging technologies and biotechnology. Earlier in her career, Greer worked at several think tanks and was also a visiting lecturer at the China Foreign Affairs University, in Beijing. 

While hailing from Dallas, Texas, she has lived in New York City, Beijing, Boston, Taipei, Washington, DC, and now Baltimore. She is also fortunate that her work has taken her around the globe, mostly to Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. She graduated from Harvard University with her A.M. from the Regional Studies East Asia Program in 2012 and received her B.A. from Hunter College, City University of New York in Political Science with a dual concentration in East Asian studies and Art History in 2007. In her spare time, Greer sits on the Board of Watershed Collaborative, a non-profit organization that offers PreK-12 teachers affordable and engaging web-based courses, coaching, and instructional resources. She is also an enthusiastic novice fly fisherman and a wannabe cheesemonger.

Maureen L. Murat is an attorney and principal of Crowdie Advisors, LLC, a business consulting firm dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses with strategy, planning and problem-solving services when considering equity crowdfunding to raise capital. Maureen has worked internationally advising fintech companies, consulting and presenting on various topics such as crowdfunding, blockchain, and business strategy.  Maureen has also taught Intro to Blockchain and the Law; Tokenomics and Cryptocurrency Regulations; and Smart Cities, Smart Government at the University of New Hampshire, Franklin Pierce School of Law. She is a member of the Crowdfunding Professional Association, a non-profit organization that focuses on growing the crowdfunding community globally and follows the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry.

Maureen received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, her graduate degree in Homeland Security with a focus on disaster management from American Military University, and her Law degree from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.

Akanksha Ray is an AI and workforce policy lead and program manager for Digital Readiness Programs in International Government Affairs at Intel. She drives public-private partnerships with governments worldwide to equip decision-makers, the future workforce, and global communities with the digital skills and trust to use emerging technologies like AI.

 She sits on the Responsible AI Advisory Council at Intel. She develops thought leadership and policy positions on emerging tech policy issues such as Responsible AI, Digital Trust, Education, Human Rights, and Tech Governance for International Development. She holds bachelor’s degrees in public policy and economics from Duke University. She speaks Hindi, French and English.

Barrett Yates-Mack

Barrett Yates-Mack is the Chief Financial Officer of Red Cell. She is also currently the Chief Financial Officer of CrossLead, Inc., a leadership consulting firm focused on increasing adaptability and enhancing organizational performance within dispersed teams in complex environments. Since 2014, and prior to the CrossLead spin-out in 2016, Mrs. Yates-Mack was the CFO at McChrystal Group LLC. For 20 years, Barrett has held executive positions in finance, operations, real estate development, and investing.

Early in her career, Mrs. Yates-Mack worked in investment banking for Merrill Lynch focused on mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions for REITs (real estate investment trusts). Mrs. Yates-Mack currently serves on the Board of Directors of multiple non-profits focused on education and hunger- relief. In 2002, she was one of the founding members of Adelante Now, an educational non-profit focused on combating low educational achievement levels in New Mexico. She also sits on the board for a handful of independent midstream and upstream energy companies and from 2019-2021 was on the Executive Board of the MIT Center for Real Estate.

Mrs. Yates-Mack has an MS from MIT and a BA from Cornell University.

From Ronald Reagan National Airport

Located in downtown Washington, D.C., the George Washington University School of Business is easily accessible by taxi, rideshare, bus or subway (Metrorail) from the region's airports.

From Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), take the Blue Line of the Metrorail from the Ronald Reagan National Airport Station to the Foggy Bottom-GWU Station.

From Dulles International Airport (IAD), take the Silver Line Express bus to the Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail Station, and then take the Silver Line to the Foggy Bottom-GWU Station. You may also take the Washington Flyer private bus service directly to many downtown hotels.

From Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), take the Super Shuttle or Amtrak train directly to Union Station in downtown Washington, D.C., then take the Metrorail Red Line from Union Station to the Metro Center Station and transfer to the Blue, Silver or Orange Lines to go to the Foggy Bottom-GWU Station.

By MetroRail (Subway)

The Foggy Bottom-GWU Metrorail Station is located on campus. It offers access to Metrorail’s Blue, Orange and Silver lines. For more information on Metrorail, visit the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

The GW School of Business is located in Duquès Hall, just two blocks from the Foggy Bottom-GWU Station. Upon exiting the station, you will find yourself on 23rd Street NW. Walk directly across 23rd Street NW onto I Street NW. Take a right onto 22nd Street NW and walk South approximately two-and-a-half blocks. The main entrance to Duquès Hall will be on your right on 22nd Street NW halfway between H Street and G Street NW.

By Car

From North:

  • Take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 495 North toward Silver Spring/Northern Virginia
  • Take Exit 33, heading south on Connecticut Avenue for about nine miles
  • Turn right onto Florida Avenue (just past the Washington Hilton) and then turn left immediately onto 21st Street NW
  • The visitor entrance to the G Street Garage is on the left between G and F Streets NW

From Northwest:

  • Take Interstate 270 to Interstate 495 North toward Silver Spring/Northern Virginia
  • Follow directions as shown above in “From North”

From West:

  • Take Interstate 66 or Route 50 to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge
  • Cross the bridge and exit left at E Street NW, then again at Virginia Avenue NW
