Roman Terekhin is a professorial lecturer at the George Washington University School of Business and an Affiliate Faculty at George Mason University. He has studied and worked in Europe, Asia, and North America, and now brings over 20 years of international experience as an entrepreneur and executive, during which his companies led business consulting and legal advisory projects for multiple Fortune 500 companies. This entrepreneurial background shapes his teaching, allowing him to integrate management theory with the practical challenges business leaders face today. Additionally, as a certified coach and group facilitator, Roman supports business leaders and board members from global companies in achieving personal growth and leading their organizations to success.

At the GW School of Business, he teaches graduate-level courses in Organizations and Human Capital and Emerging Topics in Human Resource Management. Roman designs his courses using interactive and practice-oriented teaching techniques to help students strengthen their critical thinking, adaptability, and ability to navigate the rapidly evolving workplace. Building on his extensive research on peer learning among entrepreneurs, he places particular emphasis on peer learning and ensuring that students can effectively bridge academic theory with real-world application. In recognition of his contributions to teaching, Roman received the Outstanding Teaching Award from the GW School of Business in 2025.

In addition to teaching, Roman conducts research on workplace relationships, leadership development, and peer coaching groups of executives and entrepreneurs. His work has been published in scholarly journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior and the Journal of Organizational Behavior Education, and highlighted by international media, including Forbes, BBC, RBC, and Xinhua News Agency.

Roman earned his B.S. and M.S. from Moscow Aviation Institute, his M.B.A. from Singapore Management University, and his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
