At the start of the program, sports management students receive a balance of quantitative and qualitative knowledge about the sports world to learn how to manage athletes, events, sponsorships or endorsements effectively. Students learn how to conduct research, analyze global markets, manage sports public relations and media and address conflicts in social and organizational dynamics and law. Students then complete a capstone project, which provides them with a competitive advantage in the field upon graduation.
