The Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Business Foundations provides students with a solid grounding in the essential disciplines of business. Designed for students without a business degree or formal business education, the program offers functional instruction in accounting, marketing, finance, organizational behavior and human resource management.
Pathway to a MBA
If you are considering an MBA and want to get a feel for the courses, the Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Business Foundations is an excellent opportunity. Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate, students may apply for the Professional MBA or Online MBA program. If admitted to the MBA program, all of the courses taken within the certificate program will count toward the MBA, and you will retain the certificate credential along the way.
*Please note: current MBA students at the GWU School of Business are not eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Quantitative Business Foundations.
Certificate Requirements
This Bulletin covers the degree requirements for students matriculating in the current academic year. Students who matriculated before the current year can find their requirements in the relevant archived Bulletin.
The following requirements must be fulfilled: 12 credits, including 9 credits in required courses and one 3-credit elective course.
