Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics
The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics offers foundational courses designed to train professionals in harnessing the power of “Big Data.” At the unique intersection of federal government agencies, Fortune 500 businesses, and advanced tech-savvy companies, GW School of Business is situated in a true epicenter of data analytics. Through descriptive, predictive and prescriptive methodologies, students will learn how to make data-driven decisions that are critical in today’s business and economic environment.
Students must complete all of the required and elective credits from the course options below and are expected to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above. Courses completed as a non-degree student are not eligible for application towards the certificate requirements.

The following requirements must be fulfilled: 12 credits, including 9 credits in required courses and 3 credits in elective courses.

*DNSC 6302 and DNSC 6311 may be waived by examination. If a waiver is granted, the total number of credits required for the certificate is not reduced; the number of credits from the waived course(s) must be made up by taking additional elective courses.
