Short-Term Study Away Programs
Short-Term Study Away Programs (STAPs) offer students an intensive, high-impact global learning experience designed to enhance professional skills and expand international business insights. These programs support career readiness by developing core competencies such as adaptability, problem-solving, and professional communication.
STAPs are led by GWSB faculty or hosted in partnership with top international partner universities. These programs are open to GW graduate students as well as undergraduate students with faculty approval.
In addition to academic and professional development, STAPs provide valuable opportunities for global networking. Participants build connections with international peers, business leaders, and fellow GWSB students from a diversity of programs.
Each STAP combines rigorous coursework with real-world application in dynamic global settings. Explore past offerings below and visit the G&EE blog to see how students have gained a competitive edge through participation in G&EE's immersive, career-focused global experiences.
