Yuan Guo

Yuan Guo is an Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at the George Washington University School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Operations Management, from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 2023. She holds a B.E. in Materials Science and Engineering, with a minor in Business Administration, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Her research lies at the intersection of operations management and analytics, with a focus on revenue management, pricing, assortment planning, and service operations in emerging retail contexts. Methodologically, her work combines optimization and modeling techniques with tools from stochastic processes, game theory, and dynamic programming. She is particularly interested in how firms dynamically manage product offerings and design pricing strategies under uncertainty and strategic consumer behavior.
