The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) and Renmin University of China (RUC) have agreed to extend a joint program “to educate highly qualified individuals to help prepare them to work in China in the field of finance” through the GWSB Master of Science in Finance program.

Under the terms of agreement, Chinese students will take program prerequisites at RUC’s International College in Suzhou during the summer and come to Washington, D.C., for the 16-month, 48-credit GWSB Masters of Finance program. The next program will start at GWSB this August.

“This is a strategic agreement with a top university in China to promote GW and the School of Business among Chinese students,” George M. Jabbour, associate dean for executive education, professor of finance, and director of the Master of Science in Finance program, said. “Such agreements reflect the quality of our programs to produce leaders for specific countries and the world.”

The GWSB-RUC program was initiated between the two institutions in 2013.
