Chris Seek
Chris Seek is a marketing strategist and sustainable tourism expert with more than two decades of experience helping destinations, conservation organizations, and tourism enterprises build brands, grow demand, and create measurable community benefits. He is President & CEO of Solimar International and previously led marketing for Fortune 500 clients including Heineken, Perrier, Sony, and GE.
At the George Washington University School of Business, Chris serves as a Visiting Professor, where he teaches the Marketing Sustainability course. He also teaches the Investment & Finance course in the GW International Institute of Tourism Studies’ Professional Certificate in Destination Management, equipping emerging destination leaders with practical tools to mobilize capital and scale sustainable visitor economies.
Chris’s recent project work spans destination stewardship and ecotourism initiatives in Colorado, Croatia, Bhutan, Madagascar, Bangladesh, Liberia, and the South Caucasus, reflecting his focus on market-led solutions that align economic growth with conservation outcomes.
He holds an MBA (Marketing & Sustainable Destination Management) from American University and a BA in Communications from Wake Forest University.
