The George Washington University School of Business fulltime MBA program placed #28 in Times Higher Education’s annual “World University Rankings,” compiled by THE and the Wall Street Journal. The London-based weekly magazine is the United Kingdom’s premier journal reporting on news and issues related to higher education.
“It’s gratifying to note that our focus on student and alumni experience is being increasingly recognized as reflected in this prestigious ranking. We are proud of our entire GWSB community — alumni, faculty, staff and students — and our MBA program,” Dean Anuj Mehrotra said. “It’s a recognition of GWSB’s growing reputation on the world stage.”
The data-driven rankings evaluated 1,250 institutions worldwide for 2019, among them 134 business schools, of which 114 qualified for inclusion. This year marks the first time GWSB was rated in the THE “World University Rankings.”
The THE/WSJ ranking is the third in a string of excellent ranking placements for GWSB. Earlier this fall, the online MBA program was ranked #9 by TopMBA and the fulltime MBA program was ranked #48 by Bloomberg Businessweek.
