Naomi Rothwell is an executive leader and communications strategist with experience working across corporations, advocacy and politics before entering higher education. She has been at George Washington University since 2017, first at the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences and now at the School of Business. At the School of Business, she develops and implements strategies to promote the advancement of the school, leading a team which specializes in web management, editorial services, multimedia production, media relations and advertising.
Prior to her role at the university, Naomi worked as a strategist on the campaigns of governors and members of Congress nationwide, including Senator Kyrsten Sinema and Governor Tony Evers. She also developed digital and public affairs solutions for corporate clients, including energy provider Exelon. She serves on the advisory board of a health care advocacy organization she founded in New York, which now has over 7,000 members. Naomi earned her Master’s in Public Administration from the Trachtenberg School at GW and is fluent in Japanese.
