The Sept. 27 World Tourism Day forum — jointly hosted by GWSB’s International Institute of Tourism Studies and the Center for Responsible Travel at GW's Jack Morton Auditorium — was featured in a CNN article, “Can the world be saved from overtourism?” The well-attended event focused on seeking solutions to problems caused by overtourism and featured presentations from local and national government officials, the travel and tourism industry, scholars and journalists.
