November 13, 2019

The George Washington University was ranked among the “Top 25 Best Graduate Schools for Entrepreneurs in 2020” by Entrepreneur Magazine/The Princeton Review. Citing the university’s “entrepreneurial ecosystem,” the ranking mentioned GWSB’s graduate certificate program in Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, GW’s Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence, as well as the Pitch George and New Venture competitions. GW was the only D.C.-metro area university to be listed in the top 25.

“It’s great to see GW receive this well-earned recognition for its focus on entrepreneurship,” GWSB Dean Anuj Mehrotra said. “Of course, we at the GW School of Business take special pride in being listed among the very best in this field. Congratulations to our faculty, students, staff, and especially our alumni, who have gone on to make their mark in the business world through their entrepreneurial skills and spirit.”
