The George Washington University recently hosted the annual Sports Industry Networking and Career (SINC) conference. The conference, now in its 18th year, was organized by the GW Sports Business Student Association and drew more than 200 attendees from across the United States, as well as 100 sports industry executives — including 40 GW alumni — who participated in panel presentations, luncheon roundtables and interview sessions. This year’s SINC keynote speakers included Sarah Hirshland, CEO of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Zach Leonsis, senior VP of strategic initiatives for Monumental Sports & Entertainment, Max Siegel, CEO of USA Track and Field, and JoAn Scott, managing director of men’s basketball championships, NCAA.
