Speakers Announced for GW Business Commencement Celebrations

The GW School of Business commencement celebrations, which take place May 13-15, will feature three keynote speakers including two accomplished GW Business alumni and a distinguished professor. The event will also showcase three student speakers, representing the graduate, undergraduate and online student populations.

Brian Donnellan (MBA '02)

President and CEO, Bright MLS
 

Brian Donnellan is the president and CEO of Bright MLS, a mid-Atlantic multiple listing service (MLS) covering 40,000 square miles across Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and parts of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. Bright MLS completed approximately $121 billion in residential real estate transactions during 2022.

As president & CEO, Donnellan provides leadership for Bright’s technology, product, customer support, and financial organizations as well as management of the company’s strategic growth strategy. He is a 16-year real estate industry veteran with extensive strategic management experience, including previously serving as chief operating officer of MRIS, Inc.

Donnellan has been recognized as a top industry leader, earning spots on RIS Media’s 2021 Real Estate Newsmakers, HousingWire’s Tech Trendsetters list (2020, 2021, 2022), and Inman’s inaugural “Power Players” list (2023). In 2021, he was honored with the CMLS Peter Shuttleworth Executive of the Year Award.

After earning a B.S. in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. in Strategic Management and Public Policy from the George Washington University, Donnellan held positions of increasing responsibility in finance in several organizations. Outside of work, he is an avid musician and sports fan and resides in Annapolis, Maryland.

Jared Golub (B.B.A. ’00)

Founding Member and Partner, Marblegate Asset Management
 

Jared Golub is a founding member and partner at Marblegate Asset Management, an alternative asset manager specializing in distressed credit and special situation investments. The firm currently manages $2.9 billion in assets and has deployed over $4.3 billion across industries such as business services, healthcare, and transportation.

Golub leads the firm’s investments, restructuring, financing, and M&A efforts, and has been involved with creditor committees and boards for several portfolio companies. Before Marblegate, he was a founding partner at Miller Buckfire & Co., where he raised $3 billion in capital and restructured $15 billion in liabilities. Earlier in his career, he was with Wasserstein Perella & Co. in financial restructuring.

A summa cum laude graduate of the GW School of Business, Golub delivered the undergraduate commencement address in 2000. He currently serves on the GW Investment Institute Advisory Board, advising students who manage over $10 million in university endowment funds. Jared lives in Rye, NY with his wife, Deborah, whom he met freshman year at GW while both living on the 5th floor of Thurston Hall.

Homayoun Khamooshi

Chair, Project Management Academic Committee & Program Director, Master of Science in Project Management
 

Homayoun Khamooshi is the chair of the Project Management Academic Committee, the program director of the Master of Science in Project Management program, and an associate industry professor of decision sciences at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB).

He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from Lancaster University and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the Asian Institute of Technology.

He has numerous publications in leading academic and professional outlets, including Computers and Industrial Engineering, Journal of the Operational Research Society (JORS), IEEE Engineering Management, International Journal of Project Management (IJPM), International Journal of Construction Management (IJCM), and other respected journals.

He teaches a range of courses in project management and decision sciences, and an extensive record of scholarship and academic contribution.

Sarah Corbishley (MBA '25)
 

Sarah Corbishley is a 2025 Global MBA candidate who, upon graduating, will be joining Ernst & Young’s transformations practice as a senior consultant. During her time at GWSB, Sarah was a Forté Fellow and a Reaching Out MBA Fellow, and she served as the president of Out for Business. She spent her summer MBA internship at Guidehouse Consulting as a strategy and innovation intern within their health segment.

Before attending GWSB, she was a management consultant in the federal healthcare space and served as a subject matter expert in revenue cycle operations and compliance management. Prior to her work as a management consultant, Sarah moved to Washington, D.C. from Miami, Florida to attend American University, where she majored in International Studies and Public Health.

Jalinette Reyes (B.S. '25)
 

Jalinette Reyes is a proud first-generation Puerto Rican American and senior at the George Washington University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in STEM Education. Her journey has been defined by resilience, ambition, and a commitment to uplifting underrepresented voices. Passionate about fostering real estate and education, Jalinette has participated in industry-leading programs, applying her analytical skills to finance and investment strategy while mentoring students along the way.

She has also made a lasting impact on campus, serving as a leader in Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. and mentoring peers through initiatives that bridge education and professional growth. Inspired by Tato Laviera’s Nuyorican poetry and her own bicultural experience, she seeks to empower graduates to embrace their unique stories as they step into the next chapter of their lives.

Caitlin Wheatley (MBA '25)
 

Caitlin Wheatley has extensive experience and leadership within the Biotech Industry and Innovation space. She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership and Learning from The George Washington University, and will graduate with an M.B.A. in Summer 2025.

Currently, she holds the position of senior operations manager at JLABS Washington, D.C. (Johnson & Johnson's startup incubator). Previous roles include director of quality control at Alphazyme, bioanalytical lab manager at Meso-Scale Diagnostics, lab manager at Cantel Medical, and lean program manager at Eurofins Scientific. She was responsible for business development, budget forecasting, managing teams of over 40 employees, process improvements, and laboratory operations.

Caitlin’s core values include staying curious, not shying away from failure, and seeing ambiguity as an opportunity to create something new.
