Matt Wootten

Matt Wootten is a senior academic advisor in the Office of Undergraduate Programs at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). He also serves as an instructor in the Business Leader Development Program. He joined the advising team in July 2022. Matt earned his M.A. in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Education Policy with a concentration in Higher Education from the University of Maryland College Park and his B.A. in History with a concentration in Economic History from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining GWSB, Matt served as an academic advisor in the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland College Park. Matt was born and raised in Ocean City, Maryland. When he is not at GWSB, he can be found biking around DC, paddleboarding the Chesapeake Bay, or planning his next camping adventure.
