What’s Under the Hood

We invite you to take a closer look at our Graduate Online Programs. Our video series takes you behind the scenes and quickly gets at the heart of what we’re about — and what sets us apart from other schools. One example? Our "no templates" instructional design philosophy: we take a unique approach to building each online course so that it works with the strengths of the curriculum and enhances the teaching and learning experience.

Beyond Academics

Most Online MBA programs simply focus on putting courses online, but the MBA experience is about much more than sitting in classrooms. Important elements of any MBA program are networking and learning opportunities afforded through co-curricular programming and extra-curricular activities.

GWSB places an emphasis on creating communities, building bridges between geographically dispersed faculty, students, staff, alumni, and business and policy partners. Connecting our numerous communities not only strengthens your education, it enhances your experience.

Career Services

Many online MBA and Specialized Master's degree programs offer few, if any, career services to their students. We conduct in-depth market research with our incoming student classes to assess their specific career-related needs and develop online programming custom-tailored to those needs. Our team in the F. David Fowler Career Center offers online students career and leadership assessment tools, access to our alumni database, and career-planning services.
