Undergraduate Business Association
Who are we?
The Undergraduate Business Association is an intermediary body that unites all constituents of the GWSB community. The UBA is comprised of an executive board of undergraduate students along with project assistants who work to fulfill the goals of the organization.
What do we do?
- Advocate for the needs and interests of students within the GWSB.
- Develop programs and initiatives to support the needs of the GWSB community.
- Act as a liaison between Undergraduate Programs, the F. David Fowler Career Center, The Office of Alumni Relations, The Office of the Dean and the undergraduate student body.
- Provide funding and resource allocation for all affiliate organization activities
Why do we do it?
Our mission is to empower both our affiliate organizations and students to achieve their goals, and enhance their GWSB experience academically, socially and professionally
2014-2015 UBA Executive Board Leaders
Adam Wolken, President
Adam Wolken is a senior pursuing his BBA with a concentration in Finance. Adam will graduate in 2016 with a Masters of Accountancy and be CPA eligible. He has held previous leadership positions as Vice President of Career Services with the Undergraduate Business Association, as a School of Business Ambassador, brother of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity, and as a member of Finance & Investments Club. Adam has completed an internship at UBS Financial Services in McLean, VA and will be interning at JetBlue Airways in their Treasury Department during the Summer of 2014.
Amisha Sisodiya, Executive Vice President
Amisha Sisodiya, is a Senior pursuing her BBA with concentrations in Marketing and International Business. She is currently VP of Marketing for the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, Co-Chair of the GWSB Student Satisfaction Committee, and a dancer for the Bollywood fusion dance team GW Chamak. She served as a fellow and mentor for the Compass Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurship, and was an Outstanding Academic Achievement Awardee in 2013 and 2014.
Kaitlin Lee, Vice President of Marketing
Kaitlin Lee is a Sophomore pursuing her BBA with concentrations in Marketing and International Business, with a minor in Journalism. She is currently a mentor for the Compass Fellowship, a program that teaches fellows how to build sustainable social entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to her business-related activities, she is a member of the Global Connections Residential Community, feeding her appreciation for learning about different cultures on a daily basis.
Gloria Yu, Vice President of Events
Gloria Yu is a sophomore pursuing her BBA with a concentration in Information Systems. Gloria currently works on the national team of The Compass Fellowship, a social entrepreneurship program for college entrepreneurs, where she previously served as a Compass Fellow. As a freshman, she served as the Project Assistant to the F. David Fowler Career Center and was awarded the GWSB Outstanding Freshman of the Year Award in 2014. Gloria is a member of the University Honors Program. Her interests include social entrepreneurship, start-ups, 3D printing, education, technology, and traveling.
Greg Lidrbauch, Vice President of Career Services
Greg Lidrbauch is a senior pursuing his BBA with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics. He is an active member of GW DECA, and has previously held the position of First Year Development Program Mentor, and GWSB Ambassador. Greg previously competed in Deloitte’s Battle of the Beltway competition, and was an Outstanding Academic Achievement Awardee in 2013 and 2014.
