The admission standards of the Accountancy Doctoral Program are high.
We typically expect that the student has demonstrated competence in quantitative methods through prior training in economics, econometrics, statistics, and mathematics (linear algebra, calculus, real analysis).
In the past, students recommended for admission typically have GMAT score in excess of 700 and an average GPA in excess of 3.5.
We rarely admit students who do not hold a master degree in the related field (statistics, economics, finance, and accounting). We also prefer that admitted students (including foreign nationals) have a degree (undergraduate or graduate) from a U.S. institution.
