Online Healthcare MBA Degree Requirements

The following requirements are for students who matriculate into the Healthcare MBA program starting fall 2016. Students who matriculated into the Healthcare MBA program prior to fall 2016 should refer to their DegreeMAPs in GWeb for any outstanding requirements they may have.

The Healthcare MBA program is 55.5 credit hours long. Three-credit courses are a full semester long (14 weeks). Courses that are 1.5 credits are seven weeks in length and are offered either in the first or second half of a semester.

Students in the Healthcare MBA program register themselves directly through GWeb for all core and elective coursework. It is expected that students will complete their core course requirements prior to starting the elective portion of their program.

In addition, students may choose to complete one of six certificates offered by the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  All courses required for the certificates may be applied towards the Healthcare MBA healthcare focused and/or general elective requirements.

Students must successfully complete the following course and program requirements to be eligible for the Master's of Business Administration degree.
