William Arzt is an accomplished executive manager and consultant with a distinguished career leading strategy, operations, and enterprise IT solution delivery for major consulting and technology firms. He brings over four decades of experience managing complex federal programs and supporting civil agencies, with deep expertise in performance management, strategic capture, enterprise integration, and public-private program execution.

Currently, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University’s School of Business, where he teaches a graduate case finance course in the MBA program. He previously taught international finance and banking at American University’s Kogod School of Business.

Mr. Arzt is Principal at SFA, LLC, advising Fortune 500 firms, SDVOSBs, and SWOBs on federal market entry, growth strategy, and program capture. His consulting engagements have included standing up federal strategies for leading financial institutions and global IT service providers.

His leadership roles have spanned Booz Allen Hamilton, Perot Systems, Accenture, Amdahl, and IBM, where he led large-scale enterprise programs across agencies such as HHS, USDA, DHS, DoEd, USPS, FDIC, and the Federal Reserve. His work consistently emphasized measurable value creation, mission support, and team-of-teams collaboration.

He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from George Washington University, an M.S. in Mathematics from Purdue University, and an A.B. in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross. Post M.B.A., he studied in the D.B.A. program under Dr. Yoon Park at G.W.U. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Alpha Sigma Nu, and Pi Mu Epsilon, and was a nominee for the Fulbright Fellowship.

Outside of his professional work, Mr.  Arzt and his wife have raised seven children. He is an active community member, supporting youth hockey and lacrosse, pro bono consulting for local nonprofits, and advocacy for lymphoma research at NIH and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
