About Our Alumni Guest
Kathy Waraporn Laokosakul is a professional treasury risk management officer for over 6 years in the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, the largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets. Her specialist is counterparty Credit Risk functions, such as derivatives and risks in derivatives trading, BASEL rules on counterparty credit risk and capital, ISDA Agreements with banks, credit risk of banks. Prior to joining IFC, she had over 8 years of auditing experience with her last position as an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Thailand. She completed her Certified Public Accountant (CFA) Thailand. Kathy earned a Bachelor in Business Administration, major in Accounting and Minor in Finance with the 1st class honors, and a Master of Science in Finance at the George Washington University (GW) in 2012. She was also a Graduate Assistant at Capital Markets Trading Room at GW. She engages various volunteer activities to support communities and youths.
