Hailing from Bozeman, Montana, Margaret likes anything to do with the outdoors and the Rocky Mountains. She received her under undergraduate degree in Religion from Middlebury College in Vermont where she was a four year participant and Captain of the Middlebury Women’s Varsity Soccer Team. After spending time in both the Czech Republic and Malawi during college, Margaret followed her love for soccer and interest in public health by accepting a year-long fellowship in South Africa with Grassroot Soccer Inc., a nonprofit that empowers local communities to fight HIV. While working with Grassroot Soccer, Margaret found her passion for fundraising, which led her to the Georgetown University Office of Advancement in 2011 and The George Washington University Division of Development in 2013. Margaret currently serves as an Associate Director of Development for the GW School of Business and travels frequently to New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Houston
