The Shenkmen Career Services Fund has made it possible for Mackenzie Farrell to join the F. David Fowler Career Center (FDFCC) team as Project Coordinator to support the flagship career mentoring programs for undergraduate and graduate students at the GWSB.  In her role, Mackenzie assists with the development and implementation of the Fowler Coordinator Program, designed to broaden outreach to students and to engagement them with the FDFCC Team.  She manages schedules of presentations, training sessions, and team meetings and assists with planning career-related events and workshops.

Mackenzie also coordinates complex logistics for the Career Management Strategy course for sophomores, including the hire, training and oversight of nine Student Assistants, and provides support for the industry professionals teaching and mentoring the class.  She ensures a seamless implementation of the graduate Career Roadmap course developed to accelerate student market-readiness for internships and job opportunities.  Mackenzie manages all communications, coordinates resume review and deliverable submission, and coordinates delivery of online and in-person sessions for the incoming class of Global MBA’s. Additionally, Mackenzie updates course materials, including the syllabus for each course, grading rubrics, and lecture presentations.

Mackenzie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Southern Methodist University, in Dallas, Texas.
