Jeremy Wood is a project coordinator with the F. David Fowler Career Center (FDFCC) at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB).
Jeremy comes to GWSB from Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s Office of Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs, where he helped guide the city’s communications and outreach with the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. Prior to joining the mayor’s team, Jeremy taught English in China and supported Sino-US cross-cultural educational exchange programs with a local non-profit.
As a project coordinator for FDFCC, Jeremy supports the Career Management Strategy courses, which provide a hands-on, for-credit opportunity for second year students to learn about professional development topics like networking, resumes, and cover letters, from industry experts. Additionally, Jeremy oversees the Fowler Coordinator program, a co-curricular peer mentoring program which offers peer coaching services and engages students in in-class professional development workshops and activities throughout the course of the academic year. Jeremy seeks to extend the voice of the student body back into FDFCC’s operations while creating more opportunities for engagement between staff, students, and faculty.
