Irina Orlova is the associate director of Strategic Student Career Planning at the GW School of Business. Irina partners with the director of Graduate Career Management and the graduate career coaching team to develop the core curricula for graduate students, including the mandatory roadmap course for full time MBAs and the online career course offerings. Irina works closely with the director of Undergraduate Career Management and the undergraduate career coaching team to maintain operations for all sections of the Career Management Strategy course. Additionally, she assists directors of Graduate and Undergraduate Career Management, career coaching teams, and club leaders to develop innovative programming to support students in their successful career search.
Prior to joining GWSB, Irina served as a Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, and gained experience in developing and implementing student programs at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Boston University. Irina also served as a team lead for the New York Yellow Ribbon program and planned reintegration events for veterans and their family members.
Irina earned a Master's in College Student Services Administration from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, and Bachelor's in History from Petrozavodsk State University, Russia.
