Irina Orlova is program director of Strategic Initiatives at the GW School of Business (GWSB), where she oversees the development and implementation of new programs and activities in support of the dean's vision. Irina also manages the GW Real Estate and Finance Alliance (REFA) Mentorship Program, which provides GW students with dedicated mentoring and enhanced career training and gives participants a competitive advantage to secure “top tier” job opportunities within real estate and finance.

Irina joined GWSB in 2011 as part of the F. David Fowler Career Center, where she served in a variety of roles with progressive responsibility. She enjoys her experience at GW and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Administration at the GW Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD).

Prior to this, Irina was a Fulbright foreign language teaching assistant at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY. She received her Master's degree in education, with honors, from the College of Saint Rose and her bachelor's degree in history from Petrozavodsk State University in Russia.
