Join us on Friday, February 28 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. in the City View Room of the Elliott School of International Affairs to network with leaders from organizations that have historically been most attractive to our students.
About the Rountable Series
Roundtables hosted by the GW School of Business are designed to provide students the chance to go deeper in discussion with alumni, members of the board of advisors, employers, and industry leaders beyond a simple networking/meet-and-greet event. It is a chance for both discussion leaders and students to learn about each other outside a classroom setting. We've seen several students obtain internships and jobs from discussion leaders at these events. Many have continued mentoring conversations long after the event is over.
The events consist of one hour of a happy hour-like informal networking reception, one hour of roundtable discussion, and one hour of plenary debrief and final networking. The suggested attire is full-business-dress. In the weeks leading up to the event, registered students are given discussion questions and are assigned to a particular discussion leader. Students are asked to research and reflect on the questions before the event and to bring talking points to the event itself.
