The US-Philippines Society and the George Washington University MS in Project Management are pleased to invite you to a forum with DAP President Dr. Elba S. Cruz.
Dr. Cruz, President and CEO of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), will discuss issues of Philippine governance focusing on the reform agenda of the Duterte Administration. She will highlight the role of the DAP in capacity building and its Center of Excellence for Public Sector Productivity, and describe how effective project management can be a catalyst for improved public sector productivity, good governance, and national development.
About the Speaker
ATTY. ELBA S. CRUZ, PhD, is the 8th President and CEO of the Development Academy of the Philippines.
A multi-disciplinary professional in project development, human and asset resource management and development, as well as in legal education and practice, she brings over 36 years of progressive experience in different fields of project development and business consultancy, senior corporate office, legal profession, resource administration, environmental advocacy, and reserve force development.
She holds various degrees in Marketing, Economics and Law as well as Masteral Studies in Business Administration and National Security
Administration. She earned highest distinction for her PhD dissertation in Management and Political Economy.
Prior to her assignment to DAP under the Duterte Administration, she held various senior management positions in the private sector and in academe. She has assisted in the development of major public-private partnership (PPP) projects.
She is a reserve officer of the Armed Forced of the Philippines Philippine Army and is currently the Commanding Officer of the 22nd Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade.
