Elaine Worzala is the Charles Bendit Distinguished Scholar and professor of real estate in the Department of Finance, and the chair of the Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis (CREUA), at the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB). She was recently appointed as the chair of the Capital Region Chapter of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) as well as to the board of the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) Foundation. She has also agreed to serve on the advisory board for the Heartland Capital Fellowship Program, a program for university students to learn about impact investing. In late 2022, she will assume the role of executive director of the James R. Webb American Real Estate Society Foundation.
