Denita Takemoto is the Associate Director of Global & Experiential Education at the George Washington University School of Business. In her role, Denita provides support for the overall management of the G&EE portfolio of programs and initiatives with a specific focus on experiential education courses including the GMBA CAP, domestic experiential programs, and the World Executive MBA international residencies.
Denita previously worked at a higher education non profit, The International Student Exchange Programs as Director of ISEP Direct programs and initiatives. At ISEP she worked to increase access to affordable and non-traditional semester study abroad programs. Denita has previously worked for the Australian Trade Commission. Denita has also worked for The Education Abroad Network and Cultural Experiences Abroad and brings with her extensive experience in global education.
Denita received her M.A. in International Studies from Old Dominion University where she also completed her undergraduate degree in History.
