Lead Your Peers on the New York Networking Trek
The Office of Undergraduate Programs, F. David Fowler Career Center, and Alumni Relations collaborate to offer GWSB undergraduate students the annual New York Networking Trek.
The New York Networking Trek, is a two night, two day trip to the “Big Apple” that takes place each November. An integral part of the New York Networking Trek Program is the leadership of its student trek leaders, upperclassmen who have been selected through an application process to lead on the trek. These student leaders have an opportunity to hone informational interviewing and networking skills with GWSB alumni and employers through their work connecting and coordinating site visits, helping with student preparation, and leading their peers on the actual trek (i.e. Finance, Marketing, Sports Management, and Consulting). This leadership opportunity is competitive; selection is given to those who show the most promise as upperclassmen student leaders.
