Global Management Concentration

The Global Management concentration will help prepare MBA candidates to succeed and lead in today’s global economy. In addition to the general Global Management concentration, candidates have the option of focusing on International Business or on International Development. Candidates completing the Global Management Concentration will be well equipped to do business on a global level.

Things to consider:

  • Students can complete the Global Management concentration both online and on-campus.
  • Elective courses are scheduled based on faculty availability and student demand and are not guaranteed to be offered every semester or every academic year.
  • Special Topics courses (typically numbered 6290) are experimental offerings that, depending on demand, may or may not become permanent offerings.
  • Students who wish to satisfy a MBA concentration elective with a course that is not listed below must submit a Petition for Elective Credit form.

Course Requirements

Students must complete 12 unique credits to complete a concentration. MBAD courses may not double count for a core MBA requirement and a concentration required or elective course. If a MBAD course is listed as a required course the total number of credits required to complete the concentration will not be reduced and the student must replace the core MBAD course with elective credits to fulfill the concentration requirement. Courses offered online are noted with an *. Students who would like to focus on International Development or International Business should refer to the suggested course listings below.
