Prior to joining GW Dr. Linsley taught at the University at Buffalo, the University of Portland and the University of Maryland, College Park. He has been a faculty member in both economics and accountancy departments, and has received a number of awards and honors for his teaching. He is also the recipient of a number of grants, most recently an award from the Price Waterhouse Coopers Foundation to integrate International Financial Accounting Standards into the undergraduate curriculum. Dr. Linsley has published in both economic and accounting journals, and is frequently asked to provide expert testimony in litigation issues. His interests include both financial and managerial accounting as well as international issues in accounting and the links between economics and accounting.
